I started the Brooklyn Bad Stars Baseball Club in April 2023, beginning with the design of the logo and launch of social media alongside subsequent local advertising which included canvassing north Brooklyn with flyers for Open Tryouts.
The #sandlotrevolution has been going for a couple decades and I have a history of participation in Texas. Bringing it to Brooklyn seemed well timed when I looked around and didn’t see anything quite like it. I believe in baseball and it’s ability to create a strong sense of community in the immediate world around us.
