DE$ERT MONEY was an independent group show exhibited in January of 2020. Two post-grad painters and myself decided to produce an art show for the public to practice self promotion and sharing of new ideas. We subsequently secured a venue with the Wrong Store, a gallery in Marfa, TX, obtained a liquor sponsor and a vinyl DJ to curate an opening evening's event. The local paper ran a story on the show and we were able to draw about 100 people to the opening.
